Dr. Simic is an attending associate at North Suburban Vision Consultants in the primary eye care and pediatric eye care services. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Indiana, Illinois, Salus and University of Missouri St. Louis Colleges of Optometry. Dr. Simic is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She is actively involved in the "Infant See" program of the American Optometric Association which provides vision screenings for infants under age 1 throughout the United States.
Dr. Simic graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Biology and Psychology for her undergraduate degree. She completed her professional degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Simic has extensive experience in the provision of primary family eye care services with special emphasis in pediatric eye care. She has provided medical eye care at the University of Chicago, department of ophthalmology and at the Illinois Eye Institute Center for Advanced Care in addition to over 12 years of experience in private practice. Dr. Simic has shared her knowledge and experience by providing volunteer services for various community organizations and has lectured extensively on the importance of pediatric eye care and eye protection.
